Wellcome is looking for a Research Manager to join the modelling team at Wellcome with an interest in infectious disease modelling and global health.

The modelling team at Wellcome is currently building a portfolio of modelling activities that focuses on:
- Modelling transmission dynamics and control strategies to help understand sources and drivers of infectious diseases
- Investigates the cost-effectiveness of interventions and builds evidence base for adoption
- Develops and encourages adoption of mathematical modelling tools and promotes quantitative decision-making, particularly in low- and middle-income countries
For this role, they are looking for an individual with an understanding of how modelling can be used in the areas outlined above and how it can be used to support science to tackle health challenges particularly those in low resource settings. Experience of funding/working in a low-and-middle income country is an asset.
Salary: £43,109 per annum (permanent).
